Computer starts slow, works for a bit, then freezes completely.

Basically what the title says. i start the computer, and it takes a while to get to windows and then once it does, its just the mouse, and desktop background. Then it takes about 5 minutes for my icons and task bar to show up.

After that, i can play games, do whatever, but after a little bit of time ( 20 minutes or so ) the computer locks up, freezes then i have to restart and repeat the steps.

any ideas?

I apologize for making so many posts, but stuff is happening faster than im getting replies.

I was using the computer just fine for about 30 minutes. Then i started WoW logged onto my death knight, got to play for about 5 minutes, then it locked up again.

How are your temps looking? It could be something slowly overheating as the system warms up. For instance does it last longer from a cold boot? Any error messages?

Also has your memory passed the mem test, or have you tried running it with stock settings?
