9800 GTX+ in SLI vs. 4850 in Xfire vs. 4870 in Xfire

hey guys here's my delimma

for a long time, i've been supporting nvidia and i'm still happy with them. but i've heard of people who went red and never came back. so for my next build, i was wondering these configurations:

2x XFX Black Edition 9800 GTX+ 512MB in SLI link:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150327
2x HIS Hightech 4850 512MB in Xfire link:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161246
2x Sapphire 4870 1GB in Xfire link:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102801

the size of cards won't matter, i shall be using a lian li pc-p80 case, which is full size.
the cooling will not matter, i shall assemble waterblocks on them for watercooling.
comparisons in the term of power consumption, 1920x1200 benchmarks of crysis warhead and company of heroes and etc. are much appreciated

I +rep! thanks for help guys!

4870 CF, done.

It seriously cant be beat for your money right now, the GTX 216 comes close, but the 4870 is still cheaper, unless you can get a deal with a MIR.

4850 is about the same as 9800gtx+ in performance, but is slightly cheaper. I got my 9800GTX+ for the same price as a 4850, but since my board is nvidia....

lucky bugger it doesnt matter to you

well to be perfectly honest with you, both companies suck when it comes to drivers, I had the same "display drivers have failed, but have restarted" with both of them, mostly with the nvidia though.

But my ati card was bad right out of the box, due to the UPS dude though.

Yeah the 4870 takes the cake over just about anything except the gtx280.. which is FARRRR overpriced... you made a good choice. My next setup is leaning towards ati as well.
