No SLI video cards that's for sure. You have the p5q pro.

So you're going to either crossfire in a 8x by 8x lane, or do a single gfx in the 16x lane.

If you game, the best "bang for the buck" atm is the 4870 HD.

Hai, thankyou very much.

will be purchasing a Samsung 2433BW 24 inch Monitor", 1920 x 1200.

Primary use will be video editing, graphic design and i'm desperate to run some new games like Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, GRID etc.

@Clemency, I was going for the Abit p35 pro xe, but my friend said said to use the p5q pro as its cheaper and has linux prebuilt(not that that really matters).

@Catalyst, thanks alot for those, i was researching the 9800 GTX earlier.

Im not sure how much is £180 to American currency, but the best cards out right now for that resolution would be the 4870 1gb, or a GTX260 (216 or not).

Goodluck!

Look for the 4870. Awesome card that can play most, if not all of those games maxxed out.

Why not go with 2 of the same brand of HDD and do Raid 0.You'll be faster and still have 2Tb of storage.
