Physical memory not matching my RAM?

So i installed 2x 2gb Kingston hyperX 1066mhz RAM sticks, and system says i have 4.00gb of ram.. but when i install games it says

Physical Memory: 2048MB

Hmmm? is it not installed on my pc properly?

could be a game limitation where the game will only recognize up to 2 gigs.

It's Windows, again. Go into msconfig and you should be able to fix it. Goto the Boot tab, hit Advanced Options, and make sure Maximum Memory is NOT checked.
