Did you look at my system? FX chips have unlocked multipliers too... I'm running a similar setup, but instead of a one quad I have two dual cores... I run several benchmarks while OCing and take from my experience that to maximize your CPU's performance, you want to raise the FSB, not just the multiplier... its a very significant difference in performance. FSB = bandwidth... higher bandwidth equals better performance. That's one of the main reasons the top Intel chips are vastly better performers is they are running with much higher FSB throughput than most AMD chips. Right now I'm only dreaming of reaching 1200fsb (300MHz)... but I'm not done overclocking my CPU's yet... there's more headroom to be had.
