Haha, yeah I looked up all the specs for all the consoles I could think of. And to think some of that was "high tech" at one point in time.

Yep, I've seen the specs for both, I like PS3 better because I've had it for a while and it didn't fail on me like my 360 did.

Overheat on yah? There notorius for doin that, but u just need to keep it in a cool open place. It's not actually over-heating at all really, it's just locking itself down because it thinks it is. My computer runs hotter than my 360 does.

Most everything I have seen suggests that the RSX is actually clocked at 500mhz (though the mix up often is associated with the intended speed of 550 that was announced at E3 2005). Im thinking that ram speed was also changed in order to meet supply though I cannot clearly recall.

The specs between the 360 and the PS3 are very comparable. Though it basically comes down to Cell outperforming Xenon and Xenos outperforming RSX. Other issues such as edram, split/combined memory pools, standard hdd, optical storage space, quality of development tools, etc usually muddle the comparison.
