E8400 + G.Skill mem + SLI = ?

Thread Starter
First off... I PROMISE I used search to try and find a suitable answer first. LOL

Anyway, I'd like your guys' opnions on my setup I'm piecing together. Let it be known though that I AM on a budget, and not a very big one at that. Please give me your opinions on the following equation...

Intel E8400
+
4gb G.Skill 1066 DDR2
+
2 x 7800GTX's in SLI
=
What motherboard?

Looking for a good mobo that will allow me to take my E8400 to 4gHz and I can still utilize my two 7800GTX's on.

Discuss.

i realize you are on a budget, but I would reconsider your sli setup and take a look at an 8800gt, then maybe later another for sli.

the 750i ftw mobo is awesome, i love it.

I would also see if you can get 2x2gb 1066 dominators for cheap, i am very pleased with it. I also got a 40 dollar rebate on it so the total price was around $55.

I've been eyeballing a few boards in the $130-150 range. That should help.

that would probably be the best OCing mobo that supports SLI and it is within your price range.

I recommend a 650i or anything higher (650, 680, 750, 780, 790)

the best budget board would most liekly be a 750i

Well I already have two 7800GTX's in my current comp, so that's money I don't have to spend.
