To be honest, the way I got my numbers (+115mV on my eVGA) was that I just kept upping all the GTL Voltages at the same rate for the CPU until I found one that got it stable into windows. It differs from CPU to CPU and that seemed to work the best for me.

Wow, you've got a NICE chip then.

My temps are great actually. My chip requires a lot of volts, but it still remains really cool, whereas I've seen some chips that can do a lot lower volts, but run hotter.

Yeah, mines running damn hot. I think i botched my HSF installation and i can't be arsed to take it all apart

I have a small question about VID. Core Temp says my VID is 1.3250. But Im running my Q6600 @ 2.4 with 1.10 in BIOS, CPU-Z shows 1.120 in Windows. It's stable as a mountain. If VID is not the minimum voltage needed to get the cpu going, then what is it ?

I've tried to get 3.9 stable enough to bench Vantage and I chickened out at 1.55v.

Core temp says my VID is:1.2250 and that's auto settings(says 1.45v in bios) @ 3.6GHZ.

EDIT: I found this while searching. http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...600-vid-s.html

Pretty much the same voltages I need on mine for those same speeds. VID on my Q6700 is 1.2375. Also I can only boot at 4GHz, can't get anywhere near stable with volts I'd be willing to put on my chip.

With 1.25 VID its hard to get 4.0GHz and not really worth it. Max i can get with my cooling is 3.8GHz with 1.45 volts 475*8. 1.2375 VID

CPU GTL: .63x
NB GTL: .67x

Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the GTL on the Gigabyte P35-DS3L. But the bios seems to intuitively do it for you. The main problem I have with those boards (and the DS3L) is the vdroop is way to drastic.
