ok tell me wat to do now......how can i check if its seated properly? will it damage the thermal stripe and make things worse coz i dnt have any thermal grease available too... soory im a mess Do any of you know any website that ships worldwide, not only US or so?????

After lot of research and arguments i decided to ask my friend to send me a Better HS. I came across couple models depending on my budget and availability to him. can you guys help me to pick the best... I am also planning to get Arctic Silver 5 with one of the following.

So guys please help me on this... I really wanna cool my rig down. and this is gonna be my last resortSo try 2 give me the best advice. Less noise is also good but best cooling is preffered. I strictly can get only these models

Guys what do you think of the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 and Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme? any of those better than the xigmatek HDT-D1284?

Well before you should do anything you should reseat your heatsink, because even 60C is to high for even a stock heatsink. I was getting like 50s around load in 80°F weather. Also for the Thermal Specification of a E8400 is 72.4°C.

cannot reseat coz i dnt have thermal grease. Have to get along with the new cooler...Arctic ceramic maybe. So if i try to reseat it will be worse. am i correct? the pins feel realy solid......i almost jumped on the pins.. feels solid. still might not be seated well?
