The E6400 only supports a max multiplier of 8x. E6600 is the one that supports 9x.

If that's the case, maybe lower it and go higher on FSB?

First off all, thanks for the replies. You guys are fantastic.

As you know, I am quite new to this. Loosening timings means lowering the 5-5-5-15 numbers? So loosen the timings would make increasing CPU freq possible?

Btw changing dividers (I think that means the mem speed / cpu ratio ) is not possible in this system...
