Meh one of my core 192 was $250, the other was $179, and i've had the first one for 3 months now, the second for 3 weeks. I'm still happy as pie with both

But there cheaper? I think there fair prices to be honest. Maybe they could come down a little more.

Won't exist. But 58xx series is supposed to release next month. Although it's been extremely quiet on the news scene with those cards.

EVGA's are always priced higher. Wait for Zotac/Palit/Gainward to give you the lower-end ones at a budget. With EVGA and BFG you're paying a bit more but getting a 90-100 day trade-up program.

EVGA and BFG usually have the lowest prices,

How do these compair to the GTX 280 because you can get a BFG GTX280 for only $25 more at Newegg, $315 after rebate.

Not sure. But man I just spent 333$ on my Core 216...AFTER MIR. I wanna move to the US for deals like those.

I think after OCing the 55nm would pass a stock GTX280 and produce less heat still. Although an OCed GTX280 would be faster, but produce a good deal more heat.
