Just out of curiosity, why go this route when the game/benchmark (minius wow) are optimized for nvidia? Waiting and hoping for some miracle catalyst? 280's would have cheaper too. Not hating, I'm just wondering. I too was thinking about X2's and decided against it.

Well, 2 4870X2's beat 3 280's. Considering that he could get more performance for his buck, I would've done the same thing. Getting 2 4870's is cheaper than getting 2 GTX280's which is what I am doing. 2 ATI cards also perform better then 2 GTX280's.

Hush now. Ati are working out better drivers. And if you were thinking about CF 4870x2's on a nVIDIA board........ Why?
