Too funny..

If they made it compatible with PC I might consider getting one depending how flexible it is for how you can configure it... that AND if they dont overprice it cuz it has a picture of a partially eaten apple on it.. like really.. its partially eaten.. shouldnt they charge me less because its now used food and/or garbage? Doesnt Apple understand that their picture of a 'waste product' on a new product is a contradiction at best? They should make a pc vs mac commercial about that one..

but mac bashing aside.. very interesting device, and if price is right, its MINE ALL MINE.. well.. at least one

The wired Mighty Mouses (Mice?) are PC compatible (scroll knob included). I have an office cube mate who dispised Macs so I raided the storage closet, grabbed an apple keyboard and mouse, made my start bar silver and slapped an OS X default wallpaper on my PC.

Also, people, please stop the PC/Mac bashing. Some people prefer function, some choose form. Most people here will inheratly choose function giving that this is an overclocking forum but thats no reason to bash something based on form. Its like saying you should never buy expensive jeans as a $15 pair from wal-mart can get the job done for less. There are work jeans, and going out jeans. Different products for different uses.

That has always been my biggest complaint about mac mice....they just don't fit well in your hand. My current mouse even has a large depressed area where your thumb goes with two easy-to-reach buttons for your thumb. Bring the ERGONOMIC!

False! There are jeans and there are nice pants. Jeans are jeans (and should cost no more than $40), and there are nice pants for interviews, dances, and other random stuff.

holy crap.. seriously?.. i try my best not to be biased when i see apple's " great new hardware advances".. but i can't help grind my teeth.

I work with apple's allot with graphics, its drives me up a wall that they still dont have a mouse that can compete with an intellimouse from 6 years ago. I'm sitting there trying to do professional work, and the damned thing couldn't track a 10 40 foot pixels if you moved your wrist too fast, and thats last years tech..Polling is horrible, tracking is horrible, and they just suck.. and this is all supported by graphic designers.. tisk.. HOpefully this mouse will have an up to date laser and or optical.

i bow to my Deathadder.....

Interesting idea. I'm not much of a trackpad person, but that would be pretty cool, especially if someone could get it working in windows, and include the macbook's many multi-touch features.

It is uncomfortable though, especially if they can't properly distinguish between a gesture, and just resting your fingers on the mouse.

I think just a wireless trackpad would be better. Basically just cut it out of the new macbooks, add a battery and blutooth transmitter and you're set.

How is the mighty mouse great if it's left and right suck along with center click? A damn $5 mouse do those just fine. The mighty mouse is overpriced IMO. Frickin $50.... I paid that much for my G5 which is a laser mouse and a helluva lot more comfortable.

Also a multi-touch mouse is a waste. Any one who could possibly benefit from it have a tablet or the like.
