Well, it shouldn't have. I ended up doing the way you told me I should.

Thanks though naf. I gotta tell you. I've been crawling around on the floor with my box of fittings for hours now, trying to sort how everything is going to fit. It's amazing how fast a case fills up once you mount a few radiators in it. My prior loop planning was pretty much for naught. At this point, it appears to be a "git in where you fit in" situation, LOL. It's coming together though. Slowly.

Thank you Momiji.

I had planned on mounting it that way all along, but I wasn't sure until I got it in there how well it would work. In the end, it all worked out just as I planned. (for a change )

I'm glad you like it Roth. Thank you for the compliments.

There is nothing stopping you from going orange too, bud. I didn't pick it to be special or different, I picked it because I like the warm colors. As far as the "fad", I'm not sure if the Xig fans are to blame, or Sum0n's "Dark" Desire build (that was the first mega-popular orange build that I recall).

Either way, I was digging it, so I decided to build one too.

In the end, you have to figure you're the one that has to look at it the most. You have to go with what you want.

Oh for sure, I'd pick the colours, parts, theme etc. for me nobody else. I just noticed orange got a bit popular. But you and Zippit are the only ones Ive seen with those fans which makes me want them more because Ive gotten to em IN a system.

I snuck home for a long lunch today and worked on the PSU issue. Quicky shot with flash:

Quite a bit left to do there; I'm going to re-tap the M3 bolt holes for M4's to cover that mis-alignment there in the top corner, and need to tidy the edges up... but hey, it's up and running, and no fires!

I need to head back in to work now. Hopefully I'll have more later tonight.
heres my design atleast, with and without watercooling.. i would love suggestions...

Thanks!

That's the old classic Rheobus (black version here). Well, two of them technically. They're super easy to mod. The knobs are just glued on with a rubber cement type adhesive. A good tug and they pull right off. After you get them off, its just simple nuts and bolts holding it togethert. The LED's are just set in place, no solder, so they're easy to remove or replace as well.

Actually, the sunbeam is mounted to the (new) faceplate if you want to get technical. All you have to do to remount them on your own custom faceplate is to drill holes using the original face plate bezel as a template, and use the nuts from the knob potentiometers to cinch it down. The rear PCB screw mounting isn't needed from my experience.

LOL, thanks Cattle.

I gotta tell you though, there is a fine line between sexy and madness, and I think I crossed it.

The BP compression fittings and pass-throughs sure are pretty, but uhhh. . .

I am not looking forward to cinching down those last couple compressions once I get the tubing on them. The really sad part? This area of the build is 100% out of sight. No way to possibly see any of it once everything is assembled.
