[4GHz]E2180 max overclocking

Thread Starter
Alright for some time now ive been working on a maximum overclock for my E2180, my last run was 3.8GHz @ 1.59-1.64V (depending on my vdroop of course). Im looking to find out how far i can push it before i wont go any further, speaking volts wise, like a maximum safe, i obviously cant run this overclock 24/7 but im just seeing how far i can push it on my rig. My last stress test was 5 min ago in my 10F room, my minimum temps were 5C and my max were 54C. Your help is greatly needed and requested and is always rewarded with rep + *JaKe*

I can't help too much - I'm interested in your results, however. What have you found to be a max for a 24/7 overclock? When I got mine to 3.6 it was unstable at about 18 hours, but I didn't mess with too many of the settings, I just pulled it down to 3.56 and it stayed stable so I left it.

You running at 8.0 multiplier? My core voltage is at 1.488 - 1.504 according to cpu-z, but I can't remember what I've got it set to in BIOS - it's been about 5-6 months since I've messed with it.

(EDIT)
Well in your sig it says 3.8 is 100percent stable. That's be nice to pull off, heh. But I've not got ultra great fans, just my xigmatek and some old 80mm's.

Very nice!! You must have a good one.. a lot of the E2xxx's had extreme difficulties reaching 400mhz..most topping out around 340-370mhz. That would be a good one for some DICE/LN2 testing at +400mhz FSB's.
