ESPN360.com uses Move Media Player. I cant figure out for the life of me a way to change it's settings. I guess we'll see what happens now though, because I did change the setting in flash player.

I had problems with internet usage and AVG, so I'm all about avast now. Whenever I would start a download or anything that would use a decent amount of bandwidth, the computer would freeze or crash. Give it a shot with AVG disabled from the startup and see if that helps after a reboot.

It's the motherboard. Video corruption issue with the EVGA 750i SLI FTW. Update to the latest BIOS and check out the forums over on EVGA for solutions. My solution was to use the SZ17 BIOS (an older, but more stable BIOS). Only had corruption once since then.

i believe this is related to a video card driver issue
so try updating your driver to a newer version
or it could just be a flash player problem
i experienced both before
so try them both, flash video problem is usually not related to the cpu because the video take like 10% load of the cpu power.

Ive heard of the video problem with the EVGA 750i FTW but I didnt know how it manifested itself and honestly forgot about it. Im willing to bet anything that is the problem. I am running the newest Nvidia drivers for the 9800GTX and it did it with 2 other versions of that driver too. Thanks for all the tips!

For sure. You'll get crazy artifacts and/or your computer will freeze up while watching streaming video. This is your problem for sure. Get over to the EVGA tech forum and do a bit of searching, and you will find MANY people that are/were in your same situation. Like I said, I just stuck with the BIOS that came with my board, the SZ17, after updates to later BIOS only decreased memory bandwidth and I still had video corruption issues. I don't watch a whole lot of streaming video, but what I have watched, I haven't had an issue except once after I rolled back to the older BIOS. Good luck with your board! It's an excellent board, I love mine, this is the only problem I've encountered, and I'm glad I was able to semi-remedy it.
