hello.

my 12v rail is at 11.67v. should i be concerned about this? also is this a fault with the motherboard or PSU? if it is the PSU or motherboard, does this qualify for a RMA?

How are you testing it? If it's via software 90% of the time the readings are wrong.

set the multimeter to DC.

what you do is plug the prong from the black lead into the back of the 24 pin power connector where one of the black wires enters. while your computer is running.

then plug the red lead into your other lines. yellow is 12 volt. red is 5 volt.

there is so many blacks though.. does it matter which black i stick it in?

there is also 2 yellow and 2 red.

nope the black doesn't matter.

test each yellow and each red.

if i tested it and its actually at 11.67v am i eligible for a RMA?

also. i noticed that when i set my RAM voltage to 2.1v it only runs at 1.9v.
