There's a lot out there and they're all roughly about the same performance wise and they have a flat solid base.
Biggest reason for me going with that cooler, was for the price. I'll look around and take those into consideration.

Zalman's aren't the easiest coolers to mount themselves. Plus, with the retention bracket, this thing will be much easier. It's a great cooler for its price and there's not much wrong with sticking with the one he's got. Plus, there are some Zalman's that aren't any use if he's overclocking.

Curious, how much for it all?

Get a 4850 so you have the option of putting a 2nd one in for CF later on.

As it stands now ~800 thats with everything mentioned, and if anything had a MIR it was excluded. But chances are it won't be bought all at once.

Cooler is great.mount it before you install the mobo and put your fan on.Pretty easy if you ask me.I've had mine off and on several times testing different positions and isn't a problem for me.

Everything looks good.Like others said,If you can stand ATI drivers and ccc,I would get the 4870.

Read that and the next 4-5 pages, it's marginally faster.

Is it worth it? I thought it was, so I got one ;p

I also cut myself with it. I figure anything metal you have an equal chance of cutting yourself. I love the Xigmatek. Keep that one

Wire Mangement is HORRIBLE in the 900 without modding. I had one.

Go ahead and swap the 9800GTX+ for a 4870. Unless you fold.

Anyway you can add links to everything??? I just ordered my build off Newegg, everything came to like $830ish, and I had to get a 4850 and the Antec 900 with the combo deal of the E8400!!!!
