CAN I USE 2 NVIDIA CARDS WITH THE Gigabyte EP45-UD3P - Page 2

i really hope they change this. Their have been bios mods for Gigabyte boards in the past. Someone modified a bios for my old GA 965P-S3 board, it made it so it looked like a 965P-DS3 which used a newer bios, i forgot the exact settings that were unlocked but it was a free useful little upgrade.

The best thing to hope for is if nVidia does lose its SLI capability restriction to its mobo's ONLY then im sure new mobos would be released that support SLI AND if Gigabyte doesnt want to make backwards support for SLI official im sure it will be easily moddable through a similar Gigabyte board given the SLI spec and someone modifying the bios to make it able to run on other boards with similar configs.

even if there was such a thing, i can imagine all of the different codings ur mobo has to go through, and even still, your mobo will run throough a LOT of difficulties in terms of scalability .

so yes, even though it can be possible, its not worth the hassle.

if you want both sli and CF, get the x58
