E6750 Overclocking - Page 2

I'm testing 3.6GHz at 1.41v and let Prime95 run when I was gone. So I come back and find a BSOD. I read the result text log and it says I passed 56K after 3 hours. Should I increase my CPU voltage one more notch and stress test again?

You should be good up to 1.45v. I wouldnt go any higher though on air, maybe 1.47v tops. What is NB voltage set to?

Im at 3.6GHz @ 1.42v. How long should I run Prime95 until I can say it is "Stable"? Anyone else have suggestions on how to test my overclock? Are my temps good? Idle: ~30 Load: ~60

Temps sound good. 72c is the max on an e6750. I usually run tests for 8-10 hours and call it stable.

your temps are just fine
test it for a minimum of 6hours to call it stable OR use intelburntest with 20 loops to call it stable ... it takes far less time .. under one hour

I've got allmost the exact same rig. I've got it running stable for over a year now on 3,6 ghz / 1,40 v. Memory runs on 900mhz @ 4-4-4-12 also Crucial Ballistix. I didn't need to change the NB voltage.

Does it matter if I have my timmings at 5-5-5-15 and I have it overvolted 0.03?

Just passed 8 hour of Prime95. I guess thats stable then.

Gotta second what was said earlier.. P35 is perfect for the E6750. Check my sig rig... it's possible if you've got good cooling and a good ambient temperature.

I wouldn't recommend 3.6 unless you practice it though... I did this slowly over about a year.

That's cool. In HWMonitor, under Temperatures it says system: 27-31 and CPU: 21-48

What do those mean?
