you could try a blind flash...you just need a boot disk and the BIOS on there...use nvflash

yes, you can try that you just need a set of bios and flash the gpu bios and see if that will work

EDIT: i can look for a set of bios for you in the morning, cant now since im usesing my pda lol

Just look here they have every BIOS you can think of,

EDIT Also you can flash 2 cards at the same time if you can plug into the working one and leave the other in another slot, you could maybe try it...

depends...if you didn't disable it in the BIOS and had it set to boot from there first, that would make things easier...

Thanks. I can change the settings using my 2nd card then swithc it back. Will let you know what happens.

use the command "nvflash --list"

that should show you all of the video adapters on your mobo. Select the one that is the RIGHT gtx280 (if its in your second slot i would say it will be called 2 or 1 depending on what nvflash sees on your mobo)

When you figure that out just use the command "nvlfash --index=2 (or whatever your card is shown as) -5 -6 newbios.rom

Hope that helps. woulda helped me about a week ago and finally got everything worked out using those commands.
