Hello Everyone,

I am buying a Christmas gift for my older brother and I have decided to get him a 22 inch LCD. So far, I have found fourproducts that I think are good quality for the price. I would like your opinion on these please:

1. Samsung 2233BW - http://www.buy.com/prod/samsung-2233...209316327.html - $180 after rebate, Free Shipping

2. Dell S2209W - http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=320-7438 - $240, Free Shipping

3. Dell E2209W - http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...421&lid=197378 - $174, Free Shipping

4. Dell Ultrasharp 2208WFP - http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=320-6107 - $202, Free Shipping

Of these, what is the best quality/performance monitor? Then, with the price in mind, which do you guys think is the best bang for the buck? Thanks guys! Could you let me know your reasons and your ranking of choice from best to worst? Thanks again! Happy holidays!

Yeah, I was thinking that too.... so now it is a battle between:

1. Samsung 2233BW, $180 Free Shipping

and

2. Dell Ultrasharp 2208WFP, $202 Free Shipping

I don't really mind the $20 dollar difference. As far as image quality, which one is better? Thanks~

I have always liked Samsung myself how ever I just bought a hans G from the egg due to the price... got two of em for less than 325 so I can run dual displays that match for programming and beta testing.

Samsung and dell monitors are top notch stuff from my experience. I would grab the samsung or the ultrasharp. You will likely be pleased with either.
