Another i7 DDR3 Question

Thread Starter
Be advised,

I'm getting ready to build an i7 rig, and flawlessly matched everything (including a x58 board from evga and evga gtx 260) but the RAM.

Triple Chan? Do I need it?

Since I'm going to have to spend the money on RAM anyway because DDR3 is still so expensive, what is the LEXUS (Not LAMBO) of Ram right now?

Ram that will run everything I want to play at MAX, but will not burn a hole in my pocket, 10-4?

THanks!
For the Horde.

You dont need triple, you can run dual channel
I like to use dominator or hyperx ram, they are both really good at their price

If you want the extra performance and have the money to spend, go for DDR3, if not, get DDR2.
you can run dual channel, but if you can swing it triple channel would give you more performance...

Considering you're already spending the money to go i7, complete your performance upgrade with a triple channel kit.

I'd recommend either of these:
G.Skill Pi Black
Corsair Dominator

Core i7 only runs on DDR3

most of the dual channel kits require 1.8v or more, which is unacceptable if you are running i7. all of the triple channel kits are 1.65v or less.

Which is good, right? Less heat, more memory life?
