HAF or Antec 1200??? - Page 3

Get the Haf if you have any interest in going water cooling in the future. Or if you plan to stick to air i would personally go with the antec 1200.

With the molex's you end up with a long daisy chain of connections for the front fans and possibly another chain with the back and side panel fans. I'm not knocking the idea, I just prefer the smaller footprints of the 3pin connectors.
I actually prefer molex connectors. At least on my rig the molex adapters spin the fan faster as if its getting more juice. Also I always run out of connections on the MB.

I myself have a nice new 1200 which I love with all of my heart. It is, i suppose, a "souped up" 900, but that isn't a bad thing in my book. The 900 was a phenomenal case and the 1200 builds upon that with a full-tower version.

I love the black interior and the overall design of the case although looks weren't really my driving factor in buying a case.

Overall, I would recommend the 1200, but I must admit that I am biased based on the fact that I've done little to no research on the HAF, all I can guarantee is satisfaction with the 1200. Good luck and happy hunting!

For user friendlyness id go with the HAF. Toolless bays, nice hole in the tray for removing backplates etc. and wider case. My next case is 90% sure thing gonna be the HAF. My 900 doesnt impress me in build-quality and i doubt the 1200 is any better in that department.

Very true.

You can mount a two fan rad to the top of the HAF which keeps it all internal. But it looks like this is a debate that can go on forever. Both are great cases, it all comes down to the little things that will win you over.

I had this same dilema, i choose the antec 1200 over the HAF mostly because the HAF didn't have as great of air flow as the 1200. And i think the 1200 just looks beast.

I have an idea when i upgrade from my 900 to the HAF. Im thinkin about taking one of my cages w/fan(3slots) and slide it in the HAF's three lower 5.25" bays. That should help with airflow.

It does look quite beastly. It would be perfect if it was just a little wider in my opinion. Thats what I like about the HAF, it looks like a tank. Everything else about the 1200 i love though so I will most likely go with that.
