Installing Theme on Ubuntu Help...

Thread Starter
This is the first time I have ever had to install a theme, so any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to install this..http://lassekongo83.deviantart.com/a...9770?offset=10

However I have only managed to get the window borders with the theme. I can't get the "Applications, Places, System" bar to change along with the rest of the desktop.

Any help on how to install would be appreciated. I googled, but since the file isn't a tar.gz there isn't really any solution.

Thanks!

You may need to logout, and log back in, before the entire theme will take effect. Or it could be a problem with the theme itself.

Then again I tried it, and the whole thing changed immediately.

EDIT: Oh, wait, I see. You probably haven't installed 7-Zip. See my Software Guide for how to install it. Once you have it installed, you can just drag the .7z file into the Appearance window and it'll automatically install and change your theme. If you don't have 7-Zip installed (properly), then you can just extract the file from Archive Manager, and drag the "Alduin" folder into the Appearance window.

Wonderful, worked perfectly, I couldn't tell what I was doing wrong. +Rep.
