Need help Is my cpu stable - Page 2

post #11 of 14
I have a 5000+Black w/ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe

Here is a link to a thread i did

http://www.overclock.net/amd-cpus/39...k-edition.html

I was running into the same situation that you were and then i solved it (for my Case) I was stuck at 3.2ghz and then found a stable 3.3+ghz.

The info is kinda all over so I would recommend reading all the way thru it ...but what might benefit you the most is my bios settings.

Vcore is 1.425v (1.41 I had success too but figured a little more wouldn't hurt any.

CPU to NB HT Voltage = 1.375- 1.40v (either one was fine)
NB to SB HT Voltage = 1.375v

DDR2 (800) set to 667 (Ram set to 2.2v as Factory required)
Ram timings are 5-5-5-15-24-2T

NB to SB HT Frequency = 200
HT Multi = x4
NB-->SB HT speed x5
SB-->NB HT Speed x5

CPU Freq = 254
CPU Multi = 13

Another CPU Freq/Multi combo that worked was

CPU Freq = 287
CPU Multi = 11
HT Multi = 4
Vcore = 1.41-1.425V
DDR2 (800) Set to 667

For me the Northbridge voltage increase was needed (But everyones will be a little different)

I wouldn't really suggest just trying these same settings But it might help to point you in the right direction

You should edit your signature and remove it, and add your system to your actually system specs in your User CP. It's much more easier to read.
