Hey, I'm looking for a solid wireless headset for my older bro for Christmas. He doesn't mind if it comes in late, but I was just wondering, any good wireless headsets that would be good around the 100 dollar range?

Hey Domino, that one doesn't have many reviews, and for the price the rating isn't that high. It'd go with this one or this one.

Both are cheaper in price but have higher ratings and lot of reviews. Save some money. =]

Why's that, just poor connectivity and distorted sound?

You're welcome.

You shouldn't have any problem with the sound being wireless. Technology has come a long way.

No, he won't have a problem with the sound.
Yes, the sound quality is degraded when being transmitted.

[Subjectivity approaching] Having sampled the wireless headphones, and sampling SteelSeries, they leave much to be desired. If you can go wired, please do. The sound quality is impeccable. If wireless is a must, for wireless headsets I'd say [for the price range] that Steel is on the ball, above the Logitech Clearchat.

Regardless of the technology coming a long way, degradation is still degradation. [Not to mention competing frequencies, but I'm going to imagine you don't have those :] ]
