Hey people i want to know which of these coolers are the best. I have seen the reviews for the twin turbo and im quite impressed but im not sure since zalman introduced the gv1000 and it looks like it can out perform the twin turbo and there are no reviews for it

Zalman GV1000

Arctic Cooling Twin Turbo

To be honest, the stock cooler is pretty good on that, turn up the fan to 60-70% and you still wont hear it and the card doesnt get too hot either. Aftermarket isnt really needed on the 9800GTX. BUT if you had to id say the twin turbo is probably better than the Zalman. Both have 4 heat pipes but the Zalman has 1 fan as opposed to 2. Then again i think for the Zalman you can get something like the Dtek unisink which cools the rest of the card, not sure if the twin turbo cools anything like ram or vregs.

GV1000 = VF1000

The Zalman has a helk of a lot more metal on it, so I would probably go with that and add fans/point fans at it if need be.

Arctic Cooling Twin Turbo performs better because of more fans.
