I got my cassette adapter in the mail. Since I'm gonna be visiting my grandma in AZ, and she only has a tape player in her car, I got this so I could use my mp3 player. I was digging for a tape player to test it with and I found a cassette playing R2D2!

Good news! I spoke to the Boss-Lady and she said that I could use the warehouse during the weekend to continue on with my projects. Yay!

I am very excited.

This means that I can do all the power tool work in the warehouse, and then bring the parts home to do the assembly here.

Although not ideal, at least I can start working again.

P.S. R2D2 cassette player? Coool.

Ya know.... I remember when CD's started to come out. I was amazed 'cause I did not have to wait for the "rewind" or "Fast-forward" lol @ dinosaur-man.

I remember those days as well... does that mean I can be a dinosaur too?

Very excited to see you picking up the project again!

It is pretty awesome. If only tapes didn't suck. Man, tapes and 8 tracks are the two worst music media. At least R2D2 is cool. Plus my grandma is really into R2D2, I have something to show her when she comes over. If only I had a CD playing R2D2...

How big is your R2 unit? Large enough to mod it with a cheap portable cd player?

good for you in finding more work space

I also remember the days of cassette decks and also have experience with LPs and reel-to-reel units.
