Before I install the lower chamber case-components I need to check placement of the optical drive and the fan controller, and to determine where I will cut the holes.
I'm kinda in a quandry at the moment as the only extra fan controller that I have is a Zalman MFC-1 Plus. Although it is a decent controller it does not deliver the juice the way a Sunbeam or a Lamptron does.
For now I will continue designing around the Zalman, but I may switch it up in a week or so and get a Lamptron.
The motherboard tray was a panel that I made from the same Carbon/Kevlar composite as the side panels. I will need to figure out what I will do to clean up the edge. At this point I am thinking of rounding off the edges and using automotive door trim or perhaps some C-channel.
Here are the risers that I will be using to elevate the motherboard tray.
There will also be a spacer between the cover of the lower chamber and the base of the upper chamber.
^ That piece is a remnant from the Silentium
It was the center of this piece that was the top-panel bezel.
