Wow your fan must be either seriously off balance or super torqued for that setup to help. That or your bracket is not setup correctly.

It levels out and pulls back the HS, On the MB allowing better contact

Gravity is a ***** And this thing is extremely top hevay There Is no way In the world That push pin can hold that Hs on their tightly. The Key Word is Here Is tightely Yeah sure the HS push pins hold it But just not tightly Like the way it neads to be

IF that was true than that means if i change the position of my case that means i get lower temps but i don't. Also in the beginning i thought he was using some kind of wire to increase the heat spread from the pipes

I have herd that if the CPU cooler is to heavy it may flex the board and i joked about using wire to take the weight off the board, But this wouldn't work so much as the rubber bands are pulling Horizontally not Vertically??

If you see a improvement then good work!

Right, I thought the same Thing But I got it for 10$ Shipped From NewEgg It was open box But it must have been the one used to take pictures cause it still had thermal paste and A big ass thumb print on it But no dust Still a sweet deal.

I call BS. Coincidence if anything. Those rubberbands simply do not exert enough force to make a difference. Get a backing plate and rig up a mount to increase the contact pressure.

The two pulling down negate the two pulling up (more like sideways), you aren't accomplishing anything.

The top one on the left would be pulling the HS away from the mobo if anything.

Go back to the drawing board my friend.

lol push pins! i would def go buy some bolts and washers to replace the push pins. and while you got it off test how true the base is on the HS? maybe if you Lap it a little you will also get better contact?

Replace the push pins and if you MOBO don't have a good backing plate behind the CPU think about getting one of those to!!
