Messed up airflow?

So, I did some cable management and added new thermal grease and reseated the hsf.

idle temps : 24-26
load temps 52-57

i added a yate loon 88cfm fan to the front of my case.

idle temps: 26-30
load temps: 54-56

what happen? lol

You have to let the thermal paste have time to settle in. This will happen after a few days of normal usage.

Maybe you made your neutral pressure case into a positive pressure case. More air in than it can exhaust. Compared to neutral pressure that would inhibit your cooling. If youre using AS5 it needs a few days to settle in.

Hmm..I have more exhaust cfms than intake cfms..i did some calculations a long time ago to figure out if my case was using positive or negative airflow..but i forgot what it was..

also, i'm using shin etsu thermal paste.

prolly wht kimosabi said is correct.. u are pushing in too much pressured air than ur other fans are capable of xhausting the warm air in...

If the fan size is same ie. 80mm or 120mm try to swapp their positions.. u'd be noticing the difference..

The fan whcih u added replace that with the othe fan u are using..
