High airflow alu. case? Is there such a thing?:-)

So i got tired of the somewhat flimsy build-quality of my Antec 900. Ive already set my eyes on the 1200 or the CM 932HAF but im not sure at all. Mostly because they are steel-cases.

And here the other day i got some input on alu cases and their build-feel. "You'll never look back after having an alu. case", he said.

Im all about airflow so a 1200 probably would be the best choice, but are there alu. cases with airflow that meets or surpasses the 1200/932HAF?

Any recommends maybe?

I probably wont go over $300 purchasing a new case.

without extensive modding? Not really...

Most aluminum cases that I know of are server cases and don't feature an insane number of fans similar to the antec 1200... If you're willing to take the time, purchase a lian li and mod it up - otherwise, the 932HAF or 1200 is the way to go

I have a decently cheap but nice Ultra Aluminus Case that was pretty nice with decent(not great) airflow after I modded 3 of the drive bays to put a 120mm fan in and put another 120mm in the top. The airflow was decent, but honestly the aluminum was easily bent and was extremely flimsy. Yeah it was light weight, but I moved to the 1200 and was much happier. Even with all 6 case fans that I put into the Aluminus, my temps dropped about 5 degrees by moving to the antec 1200.

The higher end aluminum cases might be better, but I personally didn't like my medium range case.

Thanks alot for the inputs, guys. Im currently 99% sure ill go for the CoolerMaster ATCS 840 case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119187

I just fell in love with it and it has good potential. I figured the difference between this and a Lian Li in buildquality is not very big.

All rep+ for sure!
