Microphone, Analog or USB?

If I already have a sound card with an analog input for a microphone would the USB or the analog version of the Logitech Desktop microphone be better? Or is there no discernible difference between the two?

Depending on the sound card- I'd say use the Analog. Your CPU is already processing sound for it, why through a USB in the mix to hog up resources? Ultimately, I'd still suggest the Analog over the USB.
