I argue that all boards should offer this kind of support... I wonder if there will be an issue with this board being able to support heavier coolers..., the silicon around the the motherboard mounting holes looks pretty thin...

I believe thats where the backplate comes in. Most "heavier" coolers I've seen that are any good, have one.

well i mean the area around the holes, there is a really thin part separating them... See it? (between the LGA1366 and LGA775 mounting holes)

I though about that two. i don't know if it could handle Those heavy heatsinks.

Also guys, its an 8 layer PCB, so even then it'll be really strong. I wouldn't leave it to foxconn to overlook something as crucial as that.

I see what you mean, whats even worse is that lower left one, it almost looks like it isnt even connected in the very middle.

you know you have those universal mounting brackets that do both 775 and 1366?
Alright Foxconn give me the NB waterblock and I'll probably use it. But do we REALLY need an LN2 pot too? I'd imagine if that was skipped it could bring the price down at least a little. That's just wayyy too much to spend on a mobo.
