I mean that if I have a better performance with the single-channel, why I would I use dual-channel then?

dual channel would normally give you another 10% performance thats why. theres something wrong with your board

I haven't tried it. You're saying that I should try with the black slots if it's working without any problems.

It can't be. It's working without problems and doing great job when single-channel, but dual-channel affect little bit slower and it loads Windows slower and it's not stable then.
