ECS = terrible i have seen 6 go out in a year in 6 different computers, its not like one computer had RAM that blew up the boards but 6 different computers.

One even cracked an old AMD in half

i doubt any ECS boards are great overclockers
but they are not that bad after they tried to make high end products.

This is all well and good, but If its released before february, it will be useless. Phenom II will only be DDR3 compatible when the 9x5 series comes out, which, like I said, wont be till february.

On the whole it looks like a nice board though. It will be interesting how the new AMD's act with the higher DDR3 latencies.

HMM is that a nice board made by ECS? Still though i would touch it, not after my experiences with ECS boards.

That's the insidious thing about AMD...you can't tell without an overhead view and a magnifying class to count pinholes...curse you stealthy sockets.

A friend of mine had an ECS x48, the worst piece of hardware i've ever seen in my life. Honestly it was just a scam to get someone to waste 200 bucks. It looks nice on paper and in pictures but the actual product would barely pass any other Mobo maker's QA. No support either. Drivers didnt even support vista x64......

My experience with ECS was superb. The only thing wrong was lack of overclocking options
