Rad screws

Thread Starter
When I bought my rad (from an OCN user here), i got 16 ran screws, but in order to mount fans on both sides, i've been giving each fan two screws. However, now that I have the 480GTX mounted in my rocketfish, i would like to have 4 on top because with fans, the thing gets pretty heavy...

Where can I get these rad screws? Does OSH have them? What size would they be? Also, I was VERY inaccurate in drilling holes for the rad, and as a result, I'll probably have to add washers to make the thing look better aesthetically. What size screws would accomodate for this?

You just need to take one of the screws to the local hardware and get as many as you need. About the washer...the next size up in American threading is 1/4"so be careful. You may need three washers to keep from fitting the rad. Metric sizing is a smaller jump but check fit first to avoid damage.

Hi.

I use 6/32 bolts (flat tip) on my radiators. You should be able to get them at most hardware stores (OSH included).

Just make certain that you do not get bolts that are too long so you don't puncture the radiator.
