2nded. I like in-game ads like in 2142. I actually find it funny when i use RDX on someone and see the sign behind them. "Deadliest catch."

Yes, Blizzard do make a lot of money but not nearly as much as people think. Infact, Blizzard Activision announced a profit of 2.3 billion last year. You can attribute maybe 40% of that to WoW.
....
Is it just me - or did you make it sound like 2.3 billion profit it's nothing but small pay.

I would much rather pay $15 a month than pay $60-70 every 2-3 months for a new game.... It just makes more sense.

In more recent times PC games have launched $40.

Also i only buy a game every 6 months. $100 saved a year for me.

I have only seen games come out at $50 or more, I enjoy playing 360 too and that is $60 a pop. Besides I usually get really tired of games fast, WoW actually can hold me and keep me entertained.

I would have bought:
Call of Duty 5
Fallout 3
Left 4 Dead
Fable 2

Those games alone would come out to over $200 so I figure I just play WoW and save myself some money

The problem w/me is I buy both. Over the last couple of months, I have had my WoW account active, and bought LBP, GoW2, and COD4...oof. I've had to stop myself from buying more. Friends at work have been trying to get me to buy L4D and CoD:WaW as well, but I just can't afford those shenanigans.

You can't deny it though--being addicted to WoW= cheap.

Yea I forgot to mention GoW2 lol but I just find it easier to do the WoW thing cuz I will buy something like CoD:WaW and play it for maybe three months max.

But with WoW I can turn it on and off when I don't want to play it and I have been playing WoW on and off for over a year now.

You'd be surprised at the kind of people that play this game. I'd like to see the nerds that try making fun of WOW on the internet because how insecure they are.

On a side note, what the hell is LARPing?
