The P5K Deluxe would probably go for $90-$100; I don't know about the Tivo, though.

If I recall, a TiVo can only be used if you have the TiVo service. You can hack it, but I do not know the specifics, and I remember that only some TiVo boxes can be hacked. And I think the TiVo service may come with a box. Not sure about that part, though.
If I had to guess a number, I would say no more then $65ish.

Although, there is a standered 80gb 7200rpm IDE hard drive in it, so that's somethin. You can reformat it and have a new-ish hard drive.

Tivo value: $45

I have both the Tivo Series 3 HD XL 1TB version ($600 brand new) and the series 2 Standard Definition exactly like that one. The 80 gig series 2 I have is three years old now, and is still in use on a standard def tv in the bedroom. Unfortunately, people are looking more toward the series 3 when they get the tivos now because they can replace your standard cable box and record HD content. Also, the series 2 tivo doesn't have ethernet port for network capability, you have to get the wireless-g adapter from tivo which is overpriced (and can't be used on a computer) for it to connect over the network and internet.
