Overclock 2.0 ghz core duo intel comp

Thread Starter
I am new with overclocking, I have tried doing it manually throughout the bios, yet it doesn't seem to work. Furthermore, I downloaded the nTune program that does it automatically, but it states i don't have nForce 2, not sure what that is. I also want to overclock my video card. I currently have a GeForce 7300 (512mb). Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Fill in your system specs. Also, is this computer a DELL, E machine or something you bought from a dealer, or did you build it yourself? We need to know the outline of your computer before we can decide what you can do and what you can't.

if it is a dell or emachine or prebuilt system that wont allow overclocking then you could try a bsel mod. if its a e4400 then this may work http://entertainment.webshots.com/ph...86116112ULvyBn check some of them out online before you try one

go to User CP (up at top) then click on Edit System under System Information.
then you can type in what you have so everybody knows it =).

Have you looked into buying aftermarket cooling?

I would start with an aftermarket CPU cooler first, before anything else.
