Budget PC - $344.87 shipped (Can I go lower?)

Heya,

I'm trying to build my girlfriend's sister a *very* budget PC. She basically only uses it to browse the web, check email, watch YouTube, and listen to music. No games (besides maybe flash/shockwave...) or encoding.. no graphics... etc.

Problem is, she needs everything, including mouse/keyboard/screen.

Of course, I'm worried about shipping, so a LOT of this stuff is 'free shipping' so it might be a higher base price. (I'm only paying $8.97 currently for shipping on everything listed here, including the case)

I don't care about MIRs, I have a hard time with them because I either just forget (lol) or I have too much trouble with the company... not worth an hour+ of my time for $15-20.

I have never really bought a 'barebones' system - do you think I could go cheaper by starting with that then adding the peripherals?

Just realized I'd need to get a Heatsink/Fan for that CPU, it's OEM... heh. That brings the price to $32.50 if I get the cheapest compatible one.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819104319 for $29.99, includes heatsink and fan. And faster.

WD 500 gig AAKS, $10 more but double the storage and faster

Never heard of that PSU, I wouldn't trust it. as it is connected to everything in your rig

I REALLY suggest getting a quality PSU (inexpensive, not cheap! there's a difference)

That's going up, not down.

80gb (-$10) might be tight if she's going to be downloading music and some videos.. but 250gb should be fine. 500gb (+$10) is nice, but probably unnecessary.

Rosewill... +$15.

I've had good luck with no-names/generics for these very very basic PCs. But yeah, it is a risk.

Raidmax. ~$6 shipping, actually comes out cheaper than the one I had picked.

remember, no graphics card. even very low end systems do not need more than 400w

300w with no graphics would be plenty.
maybe this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182006

plenty of good reviews and only $1 more than the one in OP

Price limit is whatever I'm willing to spend on my future sister in law... haha. Honestly, I'd like to keep it as low as possible while still making it usable for what she needs. She does ZERO gaming.

+ about $6.50 shipping, It adds up. What do you think about the Raidmax I posted, reviews seem good.
