Checked them both out... Newegg doesn't seem to carry the sexy mirror-finish Hush, though. I dig the styling on the Alpha, too, but is there a non-window version?
I dig the Thermaltake, very similar styling to the CM 590.

What exactly have you had to do to get a beautiful case like the Hush or Alpha to look nice?
So anyways, I'm looking at the NZXT Hush, Alpha, and Tt M9 now and my questions are...
- Will the Hush have sufficient airflow for overclocking on air with an AC Freezer 64 and an HR-03GT+90mm? If so, where can I get a silver-fronted one?
- Is there a non-window version of the NZXT Alpha? That's another sexy case and I'm seeing generally favourable reviews for it. Is there, again, enough airflow?
Tt M9 looks good, similar to the 590, but with the power buttons moved up higher (good thing) and a top-mounted PSU. A mesh bezel seems unlikely to pose any airflow problems, although I wonder if that perception is faulty. The Centurion 5 I have now has a similar mesh bezel, and I sometimes wonder if, with three hard drives in front of my intake fan, air is simply flowing through my top drive-bays and right out the back. Maybe a solid bezel would circulate air under the GPU better.
If any of you think the Hush will have airflow problems, or I can't find the black with silver bezel model online, I'll forget it. We've got to put the components first, after all. I'd like to keep this case around quite a bit longer than I've had my Centurion 5... which I didn't expect to give away when I got it. I normally don't even consider hinged bezels, as a matter of day-to-day convenience, but damn that silver look is sexy.
I'll got to the Alpha if the Hush can't be had in black and silver, again so long as nobody thinks I'll find airflow issues with it. My internal components come first, but "sufficient" is good enough for me. I plan to overclock only as far as my current cooling will take me, no record attempts here. It's also worth noting that the Alpha is the least expensive of the three without a side-window.
Barring those cases, the M9 is where I'll go. I leave these conditions to you guys, now. You're the experts.

Do you reckon my AC Freezer won't be up to the task of cooling a 9850 BE OC? It keeps my opty 1216 pretty chilly (48-50 load w/ 2.4->2.76 OC @ <65F ambient). I suppose a BE Phenom would be a little wasted if I don't OC it at ALL, but I'm pushing my budget already.Edited by Ltar - 12/24/08 at 12:22am
