Oc'ing my card

I have done it before but I didn't do it right. I used Evga Precision and it worked fine until like 2 weeks later when I was playing Counter-Strike Source and there were loops and long pauses and color glitches. What do you guys use to tweak your cards. Also what is the best one for ATi, because I am getting a 4870x2 pretty soon (Christmas).

I would say downclock the card a bit and bump up the fan speed. Guessing either it was unstable or just getting too hot while you played. Keep it under 90c.

I use rivatuner. Just make sure you test for artifacts with ATI tool.
