This might be an option: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131296

These are known to be rock solid.

The P5Q -E is basically the same as the P5Q Pro. Both P45 jsut with slightly different features. I dont think there are many problems with the BIOS or drivers as many people are using the board.

Trust me on the HD4870 especially for SC2 as it will be optimized for ATi cards

Theres nothing "wrong" thinking about that one. Its starting to get outdated, thats all. It will work fine but good motherboards arent really that expensive nowadays. Especially since the arrival of DDR3.
I strongly recommend this:

THE UD3P thread:
http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...ing-guide.html

But this is also a great board for the money. It was my first mobo. nVIDIA though and SLI ready:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131232
Easy BIOS for new OCers and nice features.

Im sorry but i seriously do not reccommend the Asus nvidia chipset board as Asus does not make goo Nvidia Chipset boards and he doesn't need Sli.

Sure but it runs great with a single GPU. And a 750i FTW costs alot more than this and the P5N-D beats a G31.
And have you previously owned a P5N-D?

processor for WoW only needs quick Dual Core.

e8*00 will be good, and OC well.

nVidia 8800 GT or GTS is perfect.

I do not know what PvP is like in WoW with how many poeple on teh screen and such, bu tmroe System ram = better MMO experience and More Vram = better gameplay with many Characte ron screen =)
