Which G.Skills PI Should I take?

1000Mhz or 1066Mhz for more 18$?

any suggestions? 1066MHz is nescessary for overclocking the CPU or 1000MHz enough?

The 1066 kit runs very well. I can run them at 1.8v at 1066. I have 2 sets that both OC to 1088. I have owned 2 sets of 1000 kit, but could never even get them to run at 1000, so I dont recommend them.

But as stated previously, 1000 will be more then enough for your P4. I would only get the 1066 if you plan to upgrade the rest of your system.

I run GSkill 4gb (2x2gb) ddr2-1000 w/a gigabyte ep45-ud3p at 1032mhz. It's not the PI series.

Buy the speed you need with GSkill. They frequently don't OC well.
