Help with GPU Folding

Thread Starter
OK so i've never remotely used GPU folding.

So whats the best way to maximize the ppd (smp/gpu folding) on the following rig:

E2180 (3 ghz)
2 gigs G.Skill HZ
8800 GTS 320mb (G80)

I figured thats the folding important components, if you need more info see my sig or just ask and I'll post more detailed specs.

How do I setup gpu folding? What do I do to get it started??

Thanks

To maximize your PPD, you'll want the SMP client to utilize both cores and it starts as a service on boot-up which is convenient. To also use your GPU, you just need to install the GPU client and launch it. Both will work together.

Just google F@H download for the clients.

Running one card is easy, no special setup. Just oc your shaders as high as they can, stable and temperature. If you run more than one gpu there's other setuip things you'll have to do. Just ask.

Look in the Essentials Threads in the folding forum. There's a guide to set up the SMP and GPU2 client on Vista there. You won't have to choose one over the other, they will both work at the same time.
