Don't get a G0, the B3's clock so much higher
G0's need about twice as much voltage to hit the speeds B3's achieve

Q6600 isn't necessarily a fast processor at stock. It's more for programs that require a lot of CPU usage and 95% of the games out there now won't have trouble running on a Dual core. The dual core will be faster and less expensive; you're not paying extra for what you don't need. I don't really know much about the E7200 but I'm sure it will be better for what you're using it for.

B3 = higher VID, runs hotter, lower thermal ceiling 63c
G0 = lower VID on the earlier batches avg. 1.275, newer batches are 1.325v, runs cooler, higher thermal limit 72c. so the G0 is better than the B3
@ OP I would get the Q6600 as its 8MB cache willl help in games compared to the 3MB in the E7200

This is completely incorrect. OP, please ignore this. You need to get a G0 if you go Q6600. I am sure others will comment the same.
Back to the OP:
Get a Q6600 if you can afford it, they are great.
