Hello all. I am thinking about purchasing this board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186150 but I can not find specs for the CPU wattage. I will be getting a Phenom, but do not want to get one that wont work. I can only find this spec on a handful of boards. What am I missing here. Thanks

Yes the specs claim Phenom compatibilty, but I have seen motherboards that are limited to 95W. How can I tell what the limitations are? Building did not used to be so dufficult.

Ok, after endless research and being ignored in every forum posts on every forum I am registered on, it looks like the AMD 790GX can handle anything. Is this correct?

That's the QVL. Those are processor certified to work but that does not mean other ones will not.

I see the Phenom X4 9850 listed and that has a 125w TDP.
Once again...

Yes, and that just adds to my confusion. I guess I will go ahead and buy and take a chance.
