Here it is:

This is at stock settings, and the vcore figure is not right.... CPU-Z isn't reading it correctly on this board.

Haha I was gonna say.... 0.96v!!! I wish it could run those speeds at that voltage. Can't wait to see the overclocking results, this review took it to 3.3GHz "with ease". All I'm thinking is well if you did 3.3GHz "with ease", show me what it can do without ease haha. Push that sucker to it's limits!

EDIT: Since it's not reading your CPU voltage correctly, could you let us know what you believe it to be running at based on the BIOS hardware monitor or what it's set to in BIOS?

durch.... I still have it set on Auto for CPU voltage, but I figure that it must be running at 1.325V as Core Temp is reading it. I had the exact same 0.96V in CPU-Z for my 5000 BE, no matter what the vcore setting was. For some reason, CPU-Z or HWMonitor just can't read vcore correctly on this EVGA 730a.

With the holidays here, it'll be a few days before I can get to some OC results.... but, there is more to come.

I also invite anyone else with results from their 7750 BE, or questions or comments, to join in and post them here as well....

I'm liking the low temps. 13C? Wow. Did you need to reflash your BIOS for this chip to be recognized?

The temps are obviously incorrect.

I know the temp readings are off, similar to how Brisbanes read incorrectly.... the closest thing I have to rely on for CPU temp is TMPIN0 on Hardware Monitor.... that temp corresponds to what the onboard LED diagnostic display shows for CPU temp while it's running. And no, I didn't have to flash the BIOS; I'm just running the one the board shipped with.

Just finished building a new PC w/the same CPU and MB.
Using Corsair XMS DDR2-800 that I got on special - that and the inaccurate settings/readings on the 730a are restricting my overclock a bit.
CPU bus is at 273, mult 11x = 3.14Ghz
Had to drop the RAM to 360x2 (DDR 533 in BIOS), but it let me drop the latency settings to 4-4-4-16-21 (from 5-5-5-18-23).
I really would like to put some more voltage in the CPU, but until the BIOS and/or monitoring utils improve, I'm sticking with what I have.

take it up to x15 multiplier and see what it will do. Also increase Vcore to about 1.375

You paying if I kill it ?

Problem is the EVGA 730a doesn't display the Vcore correctly (the lowest setting besides Auto is 1.5V) Since the sensor progs won't show it either, I have no idea if the VCore is changing, and what to.
There may be a mapping of selections to actual Vcore values, but I'll let someone else figure that out, or wait for a BIOS update.
